We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Surrey Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret medication orders and prescriptions, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications.
  • Assess prescriptions for therapeutic suitability, taking into account patient demographics, laboratory data, and standardized references.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members to resolve prescription-related issues.
  • Provide instructions on proper use, administration, and storage of medications, as well as potential side effects.
  • Participate in medication use evaluation projects, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Knowledge of drug distribution processes in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare practitioners and patients.
