Financial Operations Manager

As a key member of the senior leadership team at Federated Co-operatives Limited, the Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of its financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership to the accounting and administrative team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
- Ensure the credibility of the company's finances by providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, identifying business opportunities and providing strategic financial guidance.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for the Board, ensuring clear and concise communication of financial performance.
- Recognized leader with a degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or Accounting, with a professional accounting designation.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 4 years at a leadership level.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial analysis, with expertise in business and management principles.
- Ability to build and foster effective business relationships, communicate effectively, and formulate ideas clearly and concisely.
