Compliance Officer

About the Role:
SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA's Capital Market Surveillance team is seeking a skilled Compliance Officer to join their global team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory risk and compliance in the financial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze trade surveillance alerts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new surveillance scenarios and minimum standards.
- Contribute to the quality assurance and reasonability testing of surveillance controls.
- Assist with the preparation of management metrics and reports.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to enhance the Trade Surveillance program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in trade surveillance, compliance, and/or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
