About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Estimator to join our team at The Mirillion Group in the GTA. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing our estimating team, while coordinating Lump-Sum bid opportunities and construction budget responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine and validate overall project requirements.
  • Ensure the completion of full quantity take-offs of general, internal and subtrade resources.
  • Populate tender forms, generate requests for information, anticipate proposal requirements, and assist in establishing a project schedule where needed.
  • Recognize risks related to project specific needs, site details, schedule, and market conditions/constraints.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating.
  • Prior experience as an Estimating Director or Project Cost Manager is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Project and Procore is an asset.
