Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimator. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as preparing and reviewing estimates for various construction projects, coordinating with the project management team, and analyzing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate estimates.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quotes and design proposals for management (service calls, new projects etc.)
  • Select highly qualified subcontractors and solicit competitive pricing for tenders
  • Conduct thorough analysis of tender drawings and provide comments on the design, scheduling, possible cost savings, and potential construction problems
  • Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal, tender walk, conferences, and site visits
  • Develop and review subcontractor scope of work and accept, review, and analyze contractor quotes for the best value
  • Maintain good relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain Master Tender List and ensure up-to-date trade information
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess a minimum of 5-8 years of Estimating experience
  • Experience in construction estimating and bidding for general contract work
  • Analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
