Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As a Diesel Truck Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, including brake repairs, electrical repairs, and cab component replacements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, including brake repairs, electrical repairs, and cab component replacements.
  • Remove, replace, or adjust brakes, fifth wheels, minor electrical repairs, cab components, and accessories.
  • Perform all aspects of preventive maintenance on vehicles as trained.
  • Perform other mechanical repairs and replacements as directed or assisted by Technician I, II, Lead Technician, or Supervisor.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of practical experience with vehicle repair or truck repair preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an apprentice program.
  • Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies.
  • Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required.
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5 and the ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months of being hired required.
  • Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
