Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic

Bison Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and trailers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems using computerized and other testing equipment.
  • Adjust and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D) and Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T) required.
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate and Diesel engine repair specialization an asset.
