We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by collecting shopping carts from the cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, and returning them to a safe storage location. Ensure that customers receive assistance with carry-outs or carry-ins, and verify receipts for proof of purchase.
- Cart Retrieval and Maintenance: Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk and adhere to established guidelines for occasional cleaning and maintenance of the restrooms, handling chemicals, and following correct disposal procedures.
- Safety and Emergency Procedures: Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring that guidelines are being followed properly for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood-borne pathogens.
- Inventory Management: Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to Company policy and procedures, and promoting safety by wearing personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe footwear and reflective vests.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with colleagues and management to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
