BELFOR Restoration is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team.

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for supporting our team with all aspects of finished carpentry, including:

• Safe operation of hand and power tools
• Erecting and disassembling scaffolding
• Assisting with demolition and debris disposal
• Preparing material take-offs and reading blueprints
• Setting up and taking down poly containment and drop sheets
• Knowledgeable in building code and construction math
• Intermediate to advanced experience in installation of insulation and vapor barrier
• Intermediate to advanced experience in wood and steel stud framing application
• Intermediate to advanced experience in finish carpentry skills

Required qualifications include:

• 2+ years of experience in the field
• Construction/Restoration/Insurance experience preferred
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
• Self-driven to achieve goals and meet deadlines
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy
• Willing to work nights and weekends when requested
• Periodic travel may be required
• Criminal Record Check
