Job Title: Bar Manager

We are seeking a skilled Bar Manager to join our team at Hob Fine Foods inc. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the bar area, wash glassware, and maintain the draft beer system.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on wine selection, provide recommendations on drink selections, and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Order bar stock, maintain inventory, and control bar stock levels.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Team Management: Supervise 5-10 staff members, including food and beverage servers and other staff.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Catering firm or restaurant.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, and positive attitude.
