Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team at the Cobequid Community Health Centre. As a Medical Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
  • Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Previous experience is an asset
  • Qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is an asset
  • Comprehension of technical language to review and use manuals and participate in relevant discussions
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
