Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of city-owned recreational facilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime
  • Coordinate daily operations, maintenance, and repair activities
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting for facility maintenance projects
  • Manage facility maintenance projects, including repairs and renovations
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance
  • Technical background in maintenance and operations, with trade certification an asset
  • Pool Operator 1 & 2 and Refrigerator Operator certifications considered assets
