Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements, in accordance with IFRS and Canadian GAAP.
  • Consolidation: Prepare monthly consolidation and intercompany elimination entries, and ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements for the parent company and subsidiary companies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Prepare quarterly cash flow statements and ensure the timely and accurate reporting of cash flows.
  • Financial Systems: Maintain and enhance our financial reporting system to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create and maintain Cognos Controller and Cognos 8BI reports to provide insights and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond to and resolve problems and issues related to reporting systems and financial reporting.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in accounting or finance, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in consolidation and financial reporting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, experience with JD Edwards, Cognos Controller, and Cognos BI, and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
