Job Summary

We are seeking a talented accountant who wants to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inter-company accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions independently.
  • Analysis and Problem-Solving: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and suggest solutions to improve financial performance.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable, accounting journal entries, accounts receivable, general ledger, inter-company accounts, and reconciliations.
  • Experience using accounting systems and platforms.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, speed, accuracy, excellent customer service, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to analyze information, suggest solutions, and implement improvements autonomously.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in a hi-tech or start-up environment.
  • Experience in transactional-based companies.
