Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

MR GREEK DONAIR SHOP INC is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Operations: Prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for the chef, and supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Staff Management: Hire food service staff and maintain a team of 5-10 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
Work Environment:

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
