Job Title: Cashier Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier Supervisor to join our team at MBA GAS CO LTD.

Job Summary:

The Cashier Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including supervising cashiers, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of 5-10 cashiers, ensuring that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign sales workers to duties, including cash handling, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked store.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for cashiers, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed during peak periods.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to management on store performance.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and that inventory levels are accurate.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Temporary.
  • Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly.
