Job Description

The Role:

As a Management Trainee at EMCO Corporation, you will embark on a comprehensive 4-phased program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a management role. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the business, including warehousing procedures, customer service, and sales. Your journey will take you through four distinct phases, each focusing on a specific set of skills and responsibilities.

Program Outline:

Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service (12-Months) – You will learn the ins and outs of warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.

Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement (12-Months) – You will develop your skills in customer problem-solving, relationship building with customers and vendors, and procurement.

Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales (15-18 Months) - You will focus on business development and sourcing sales, while expanding the customer base and creating stronger partnerships.

Phase 4: Leadership and Operations (3-Months) - You will develop leadership skills, support the team through coaching and mentoring, and set vision and strategy for the business.

Upon completion of the program, you will be well-prepared to take on a management role at one of our Profit Centre locations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree or college diploma in any discipline
  • A positive and results-oriented mindset
  • A desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
  • The ability to work well independently and in a team setting
