Occupational Safety Officer Job Description

Risk Alive Analytics Inc is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Safety Officer to join our team. As an Occupational Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Plans: Create and implement effective health and safety plans to prevent workplace accidents and illnesses.
  • Investigate Workplace Accidents: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace accidents and illnesses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that our workplace is compliant with relevant laws and standards.
  • Evaluate Work Environments: Conduct regular evaluations of our work environments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
