Job Title: Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming shipments, including inspecting merchandise for damage and verifying quantities.
  • Store merchandise in a safe and organized manner, using inventory management systems to track stock levels and locations.
  • Prepare and pack merchandise for shipment, including labeling and packaging items for delivery.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to move merchandise around the warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and reconciling stock levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
