Job Title: Automotive Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Assistant to join our team at PLETT TRUCK REPAIR LTD.

Job Summary:

The Automotive Assistant will provide support to our mechanics and technicians in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist mechanics and technicians with maintenance and repair tasks
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
