We are seeking an experienced High-Precision Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a High-Precision Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and repairing tooling using various equipment/tools, including grinders, welding equipment, machining equipment, overhead cranes, etc.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting stamping operations and troubleshooting production problems;
- Assisting the New Model Group with program launches and die trials;
- Performing other duties as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A license to practice as a Tool & Die Maker or be in the process of obtaining one;
- A minimum of two years' experience in a high-volume, automated stamping environment;
- Hands-on experience with various stamping operations, such as transfer, progressive, and blanking;
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and sketches;
- EDM & CNC operating machine knowledge would be an asset;
- Familiarity with Japanese tooling would be beneficial.
