Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the company's overall tax strategy, focusing on minimizing tax liability while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Lead tax reporting, including tax provision oversight, consolidation, disclosure, and controls.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tax guidance for various business initiatives.
- Undergraduate degree specializing in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
- Completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Program.
- Professional accounting designation such as a CPA required.
- At least 8 years of experience in Tax.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Tax.
- Experience in preparation of corporate tax returns and income tax provision.
Central 1 offers a competitive salary range of $125,000-$150,000, depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors. We are an equal opportunity employer and committed to building an inclusive workforce.
