ServiceNow Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Technical Lead to join our team at Definity. As a ServiceNow Technical Lead, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements. You will also provide direction to the team and business partners, leveraging your expertise to deliver top-notch software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and configure ServiceNow ITSM modules to meet business needs
  • Design and implement ServiceNow scripting, technical configuration, and deployment
  • Develop custom and scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Collaborate with the team and business partners to deliver software solutions
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on ServiceNow best practices
Requirements
  • Experience supporting the administration, configuration, and development of ServiceNow ITSM modules
  • Experience in ServiceNow scripting, design work, technical configuration, and deployment
  • Experience with Javascript and HTML/HTML5
  • Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and SAM Pro
  • Experience with IntegrationHub and OAuth
  • Experience with custom and scoped applications
  • Able to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Able to produce clear documentation
  • Proficiency with unit testing of your own work
  • Able to mentor junior team members
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
Additional Helpful Skills
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in math, engineering, information systems, or a related field
  • Presentation skills to demo your work to the business
  • Experience in the P&C insurance industry
  • Sound to advanced knowledge of the business, technical environment, standards, processes, procedures, programming languages, and operating systems

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions, and the local labour market.
