About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Butcher Shop Assistant at HASHI IZAKAYA. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut and trim meats to meet customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh products for accuracy
  • Price and sell meat products to customers
  • Grind meats and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Prepare special orders and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a butcher shop or related industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
