We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher Shop Assistant to join our team at HASHI IZAKAYA. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
  • Meat Handling and Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats, remove bones from meat, and weigh meats for sale.
  • Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, price meat products, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, maintain attention to detail, and handle heavy loads.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a butcher shop or related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
