Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician Apprentice to join our team at Humberview Trucks.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs. This includes diagnosing the source of any malfunctions and performing necessary repairs, qualifying vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs, examining vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required, and performing road tests using safe driving standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have previous automotive apprenticeship experience, a strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs, good time management skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. You must also possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to work well with a team. Dealership experience would be considered an asset, but it is not mandatory.
