About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our team at GOLDLANE HOMES LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient process.
  • Support framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working closely with our experienced carpenters.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to meet project requirements.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work under pressure to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Perform repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
  • Work with weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs), requiring physical strength and endurance.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with varying weather conditions and physical demands.
