Job Title: Regional Vice President - Saskatchewan

About the Role

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Vice President to lead our operations in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our regional team, ensuring the successful delivery of our conservation programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual regional business plans to achieve NCC's organizational strategic goals in Saskatchewan.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the regional team, ensuring effective management of conservation planning, reporting, and delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, government agencies, and conservation partners.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure resources for regional conservation initiatives.
  • Represent NCC in the region, promoting our mission and values to stakeholders and the public.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a conservation or environmental organization.
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership, strategic planning, and fundraising.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of conservation principles and practices, with a strong understanding of the Saskatchewan region's natural heritage.
