About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Siegbert Steel Inc. As a Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Metal Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine the weldability of materials and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all work meets the company's quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and repair.
  • Certifications: Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
