Rehabilitation Care Specialist

Join Shared Health, the lead organization for planning and coordinating patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will perform direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a Therapist.
About the RoleThis term position is available in Winnipeg, where you will work with patients who require rehabilitation care. You will be part of a team that delivers high-quality healthcare services to the community. The salary for this position is $23.050 - $24.456 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Therapist
- Perform non-patient care activities as delegated by the Therapist
- Previous direct patient care experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Completion of a recognized academic Rehabilitation Assistant Program required
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in both oral and written English communication are essential
This role requires standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods. You must also demonstrate safe body mechanics while working with patients and be capable of bending, stretching, and lifting as needed.
