Job Title: Integration Specialist

Telesat is a leading global satellite operator, providing reliable and secure satellite-delivered communications solutions worldwide to broadcast, telecommunications, corporate, and government customers. We are seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements and participate in the planning of integration projects.
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within the organization's architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
  • Research and recommend integration products and services.
  • Test and troubleshoot integrations.
  • Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions of integration systems.
  • Provide guidance to other Applications Department members.
  • Identify and resolve system integration issues.
  • Assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level application integration.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
  • In-depth experience with API protocols.
  • In-depth experience with securing integrations.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development, and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques.
  • Proven technical project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
