Senior Integration Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Developer to join our team at BlackBerry QNX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software systems, working closely with our customers to understand their needs and deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Design and implement software architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, working closely with customers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Participate in safety and security-related topics, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to the team.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a strong focus on integration and system-level design.
  • Excellent C programming skills, with experience working with GCC and GDB.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Experience working on large projects with high levels of integration, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
