About the Role

CIBC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion through strategic relationship-building and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Develop and execute business plans to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships
    • Utilize industry knowledge and market insights to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
  • Customer Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients' businesses and industries to identify opportunities for growth and expansion
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide comprehensive solutions and support to clients
  • Community Engagement
    • Participate in local business development initiatives and community events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Skills
    • Strong business acumen and industry knowledge
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
