Job Description

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Compliance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the organization, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate priorities for all safety and compliance functions company-wide.
  • On a daily basis, review and audit any necessary non-compliances.
  • Assist and coordinate on all health and safety paperwork.
  • Perform regular audits of cleaning materials.
  • Safety spot checks for hazards and other issues.
  • Professionally communicate and coordinate with all other company departments, including Maintenance and Operations, to ensure all cleaners are operating within all applicable rules and regulations.
  • As requested, or required, provide management with regular reports regarding all safety functions, including accidents, claims, violations, and overall safety trends.
  • Regularly monitor safety trends, including updating health and safety billboards, company-wide.
  • Site visits when required.
  • Understanding accident and claim reporting procedures and processes.
  • Assist in the Joint Health and Safety committee.
  • First Aid kit inspections to ensure all kits are replenished and up to date with the required materials.
  • MSDS binder is up to date with the most recent safety sheets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Be eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance.
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Bilingualism.
  • Strong communication skills.
