Job Overview

Paladin Security is a leading provider of security services, dedicated to making the world a safer and more secure place. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations and incident reports to ensure the highest level of security and safety.
  • Perform consistent patrols of the interior and exterior of the site to prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with the public to ensure a positive experience.
  • Supervise and monitor guests, staff, and patients to prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Complete incident reporting and end-of-shift reports to ensure accurate documentation.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider).
  • Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test.
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination).
  • A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2).
  • Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding).
  • Fluency in English (verbal/written) required.
  • Fluency in French is considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (extensive patrolling, restraints, etc.).
  • 6+ months previous security experience is preferred.
  • Previous healthcare/healthcare security experience is considered an asset.
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
