Job Title: Automotive Body Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team at Kia of Brockville. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive body repair, with experience in estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, and planning repair work. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, as well as adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Plan repair work to be performed, including ordering necessary parts and materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Repair and restore vehicles to their original condition, using a variety of techniques and tools
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs
Requirements:
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in automotive body repair
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment
Working Conditions:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and physical stamina. You will be working in a dusty and noisy environment, with exposure to odors and other hazards. You must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
