Job Title: Concrete Pump Operator

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our team at Tegart Concrete Pumping Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumps and handling construction materials in a fast-paced outdoor environment. This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites and participate in a government or community program that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Driving record check (abstract).
Work Environment:

This is an outdoor position with a noisy and dusty work site environment. The successful candidate must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
