About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Feastivities Events & Catering. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for planning and executing menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest level of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and their guests, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.

Kitchen Management

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Supply Chain Management

Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and equipment are available to meet the demands of our events and catering services.

Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Identify and address any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

Experience in a culinary or kitchen management role is an asset

Skills

Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Conditions

Physically demanding, requires standing for extended periods, and working under pressure
