Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Food Order Management: Prepare food order summaries for our chefs, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of our culinary genres, ensuring that our menu offerings meet the highest standards.
- Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all orders are prepared correctly and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
