Job Description:
The Social Services Program Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and supporting management and supervisory activities across various policy interpretations, case management, program recommendations, operational planning, and financial management and administration.
This position reports directly to the Regional Director and is responsible for providing knowledge and direction on crisis management, intervention, and issue resolution in the delivery of supports and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage teams in policy interpretation, case management, and program development.
- Provide guidance on crisis management, intervention, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement operational plans and budgeting strategies.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop service plans to meet the requirements of diverse client groups.
- Analyze data to inform program recommendations and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (BSW preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership and management experience in human resource management, including team supervision, attendance, and performance management.
- Experience in case management and social service delivery environments, including program administration, service delivery, and planning and evaluation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet competing deadlines.
