Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supply and empty bed pans, take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and serve meal trays and feed patients.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, and deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments.
  • Maintain patients' rooms, including making beds and inventory of supplies, and bathe, dress, and groom patients.
  • Transport patients between care facilities and answer call signals to determine patients' needs.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Criminal record check, immunization records, tuberculosis test, and Adult Abuse Registry check.
