  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of meals.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal use of resources.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our dining facility.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights into facility operations and suggesting areas for improvement.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, maintaining high standards of presentation and service.
  • Establish work schedules that meet the needs of the facility and its staff, promoting a healthy work-life balance.Supervision
  • This role will involve supervising 1-2 people, with opportunities to manage a larger team in the future.Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
