Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at Aroma Espresso Bar. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, and frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure high-quality products and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and merchandising goals, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client focus, reliability, team player, patience, and basic security clearance.
