Project Administrator Job Description

Job Summary:

The Project Administrator will support and assist the Project Management staff with daily duties such as scheduling, timekeeping, clerical, reports, travel booking, and job filing. The successful candidate will have experience in a construction site office environment and possess excellent computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare periodic client project reporting as required.
  • Maintain project files and assist with document management.
  • Coordinate project personnel travel requirements and interact with head office departments.
  • Assist with purchasing and interact with owners, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain documentation for project tracking and personnel scheduling.
  • Perform clerical duties as required and become cross-trained on other administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in a construction project-based administrative role.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and self-motivation.
  • Superior time-management skills to meet deadlines handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
