Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations, and implement changes as necessary.
- Address payroll discrepancies or issues promptly, and provide solutions to resolve them.
- Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare reports related to earnings, deductions, taxes, and other relevant data, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial operations and compensation practices.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting pay practices, with the ability to stay up-to-date on changes and updates.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in relevant software, such as Excel, and experience with payroll systems, such as Ceridian Dayforce or ADP.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
