Job Title: Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team at Roman Building Materials LTD. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
Work Environment: This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
