Medication Care Partner Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medication Care Partner to join our team at Aspira Island View Retirement Living. As a Medication Care Partner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medication according to legislative requirements and policies.
  • Review residents' Support Plans and provide assistance with daily living activities.
  • Monitor and document residents' vitals, weights, behavior, and mobility.
  • Escort residents to social activity programs and appointments.
  • Promptly answer nursing call systems.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker program.
  • Medication Administration certification.
  • First Aid and CPR certified.
  • 600 hours of related experience, including clinical experience in a geriatric setting.
  • Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Courses in gerontology, aging, or dementia.
