Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Develop and manage programs and services that meet the needs of our clients and community.
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical and professional advice to staff and clients on recreation and leisure services.
  • Operations Management: Manage the daily operations of a sport or recreational organization, including budgeting, scheduling, and staff supervision.
  • Recruitment: Recruit professional coaches and athletes to work with our clients and community.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in recreation and leisure services.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate.
  • Computer Skills: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a large workload.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Travel: Valid driver's licence required.
