Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Residential Care and Home Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with residents and clients to promote functional independence and occupational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop care plans for residents and clients to promote functional independence and occupational performance.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to residents and clients, including assessment, consultation, and education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Conduct standardized individual recreation and leisure assessments and develop care plans.
- Develop and implement therapeutic recreation and social programs to meet resident needs.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities.
- Maintain resident records and reports statistics to accepted standards.
- Graduation from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
- Two years' recent, related clinical experience in a residential, community, or home health setting.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC and eligible for membership in the BC Society of Occupational Therapists.
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
