Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Risk Modeling Expert to join our Risk Management Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing risk management systems, managing model approval processes, and monitoring model performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of risk management systems: You will work closely with Senior Quantitative Advisors and other stakeholders to design and implement risk management systems that meet regulatory requirements and ensure consistency and integrity.
  • Model approval process management: You will manage the model approval process within your scope, ensuring that models are properly validated and approved before deployment.
  • Model performance monitoring: You will monitor model performance, effectiveness of the risk management framework, and model business environment on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, or STEM; a Master's or PhD is preferred.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in model development, validation, or a front-office quant role; fewer years accepted with a PhD.Technical proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python, R, C++, or similar languages.Data management: Experience working with large datasets and quantitative analysis.Model risk: Familiarity with model risk management practices and regulatory requirements.Additional skills: Experience with market risk, counterparty risk, margining, or algorithmic trading models.
